Sharing Folders

You can share folders and their content securely with users and user groups within your company by assigning specific access rights.

There are three different folder access levels that you can assign to an iManage Share user:

• Co-Owner

• Collaborator

• Guest

By default, user access rights for sub-folders are inherited from the primary folder. User access rights for sub-folders can be changed to add more Collaborators who are not part of the primary folder, or increase the access level of an existing Collaborator for the primary folder. However, you cannot reduce or deny user access to the sub-folders for a Shared folder.

The available folder icons are:
